Pets Cartoons
Dogs can be a pain. The dogs chew on shoes, pee on furniture, dig holes, and bark at all hours of the night. Numerous dogs have appeared on television since the dawn of the medium, including a few stars. Dogs may be man’s best friend, but they’re also his best friend. It is even more special to watch pets cartoons. There is nothing more loyal than a dog who can solve puzzles, talk to babies, walk on their hind legs, and remain loyal no matter what hair-brained scheme their owner gets them into. Taking a look at the most loyal, interesting, and awesome tail wagers out there.

1. Spunky (Rocko’s Modern Life)

Even though he’s not the smartest on this list, he’s still loveable. He drools and stares off on most occasions and drags his butt instead of walking on four legs, but that doesn’t make him any less loyal. In episodes, he often plays a central role, which is more than some dogs do. Is Spunky really that lazy?

2. Odie (Garfield)

Even though Garfield frequently calls Odie an idiot, the beagle is one of the most intelligent characters in the comic strip. Imagine this: he never talks (although he probably could) so that his dirty laundry isn’t aired in every newspaper. The comic strip showed him listening to classical music and reading War and Peace. Another stupid dog? No, we think not.

3. Blue (Blue’s Clues)

All of us thought Blue was a boy, but she was actually a girl. She was one of the best detectives of all time. While she couldn’t talk, she carefully selected just three clues to help her incompetent owner solve the puzzle. Additionally, she was able to jump into another dimension through magical drawings. Does your dog know how to do that trick?

4. Spike (Rugrats)

A faithful steed of talking babies, Spike protects Tommy and his crew whenever they need it. He actually watches over them more closely than Mr. and Mrs. Pickles. It seems as if he is an average mutt, but he is a fictional breed called the Siberian Tiger Hound.

5. Porkchop (Doug)

Porkchop is often referred to as a modern-day Snoopy, because he assists his owner and never steals the spotlight. He’s an ideal best friend, and isn’t that what it’s all about? In fact, Porkchop is even the sidekick of Doug’s alter-egos, most notably Quail Dog.

6. Santa’s Little Helper (The Simpsons)

It’s another heartwarming story about a racing dog, this time abandoned by his owner and adopted by your favorite cartoon family. Homer and his clan have shown him varying degrees of love. Through the run of the series, he has been neglected and even found new owners. Even so, he always finds a way back into his family’s arms.

7. Pluto (Disney)

As an animal that walks, talks, has a job, and drives, Pluto sure does get the short end of the stick. His owner is a mouse that is larger than him, so he can’t do any of those things. Pluto, however, does not complain. Over the years, he has found love and starred in a variety of animated shorts.

8. Scooby-Doo (Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!)

Despite his speech impediment and occasional lack of brains, Scooby almost always solves the Gang’s cases. The loyal dog goes after costumed villains week after week with owner Shaggy, never asking for anything more than a Scooby Snack…whatever they may be.

9. Brian (Family Guy)

It is clear that Brian is the least like a dog of all the dogs on this list. Anthropomorphic dogs walk on their hind legs, have opposable thumbs, and can communicate with humans as well as babies. As a writer, Brian has written a novel, a screenplay, as well as a self-help book that is best selling.

10. Snoopy (Peanuts)

When it comes to cartoon dogs, he transcends all boundaries. Snoopy became an official mascot for Aerospace safety and even had a lunar module named after him, in addition to comic strips and television. Numerous bomber planes, blimps, and other flying machines have been named after him. He’s a dog with a lot more imagination than most people.
